NDGF Licenses

Note:  deer and pronghorn gun, moose, elk, bighorn sheep, and wild turkey licenses are issued by lottery and require special application procedures.  See on-line services to learn what lottery licenses are available at the present time or download and print a lottery application.

Non-Resident Licenses

  • Fishing, Hunting, Furbearer Certificate - $2.00. Required of all licensed anglers and hunters.
  • Fishing License (16 or older) - $35.00.  Not required of a person under age 16 if accompanied by a licensed adult, except for paddlefish.
  • Husband/Wife Fishing License - $45.00.
  • 10-day Fishing License - $25.00.
  • 3-day Fishing License - $15.00.
  • Paddlefish - $7.50.
  • General Game and Habitat License - $13.00. Required of all hunters, except furbearer.
  • Small Game - $85.00. For upland species such as pheasant and grouse.
  • Crane Permit - $5.00.
  • Trapping License (Reciprocal) - $250.00.
  • Furbearer & Nongame License (Fox and Coyote) Only - $25.00.
  • Nongame License - $15.00. For prairie dog, skunk, rabbit, porcupine, ground squirrels.
  • Deer Bow License (valid for any whitetail deer) - $200.00.
  • Deer Bow License (valid for any deer - Note: Pending 2012 governor’s deer proclamation finalized in late April, this license may not be valid for taking of mule deer does in gun units 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 4E, 4F and 3B1 and 3B2). (Include a note if you wish to apply as a party) - $200.00 - Apply by April 1, 2012.
  • Pronghorn Bow License - $200.00 - If a season is held, licenses will be available in July.
  • Waterfowl (restricted to zones) - $85.
  • Waterfowl (statewide) - $125.
