Volunteers teach kids and adults how to fish. Many community and school groups around the state sponsor these programs using game and fish department provided equipment.
To help forge new partnerships with youth groups, we are offering a new TR Award for 4-H’ers, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts to earn that encompasses many of the virtues and skills Theodore Roosevelt embodied.
Game and Fish cosponsors the North Dakota Wildlife Federation Camp for boys and girls ages 12-16, featuring learning opportunities in science, conservation and outdoors skills.
