Licenses

License vendors sell resident and nonresident fishing, resident small game, resident and nonresident big game archery and furbearer licenses. Nonresident waterfowl and small game licenses are available only through the Game and Fish Department and license vendors with Internet licensing capabilities.

Licenses are also available at county auditor offices located in courthouses around the state. Auditors sell licenses during business hours, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. They carry fishing, small game, big game archery and furbearer licenses.

Apprentice Hunting License

An individual born after December 31, 1961, who is 16 years of age or older and who has not completed a state-certified hunter education course, may be issued an apprentice hunter validation.
