Create maps, view spatial information, browse, query and extrtact GIS information from the North Dakota Game and Fish Interactive Map Service.
The layout of the NDGF map service includes
map service tools on the left and data structure on the right. Information
about the data structure can be seen under "Help" on the lower half of
the right pane. To view a detailed list of tool functions, click the help
button
located in the upper right corner of the map service.
To create your customized map, you must first click the print button
located in the upper right corner. On the lower portion of the screen you will see
the options for title, orientation, legend display, and paper size.
Next, click the Create Print Page button and your map request will display in a new window.
To extract data, you must first click the EXPANDED MENU tool. Then, click the EXTRACT DATA tool to get the North Dakota GIS Hub Data Download screen. Here you may select from a variety of download options including the data extent, data format, coordinate system, and target layers. Once you selected your download options you will need to enter your email address where you can be contacted for download. Finally, click the Get Data button and you will receive an email with your request. The raster data is currently unavailable for download through the North Dakota Game and Fish map service. However, you may download raster data from the NDHUB Raster Data Download. Remember that only the data visible in your view will be listed on the North Dakota GIS Hub Data Download screen.
