Plans for Building Nesting Structures and Feeders for Songbirds

This publication is divided into two primary sections. The first section opens with an introduction containing general information, recommendations and technical advice concerning nest boxes. It follows with plans for building a variety of cavity nest box structures and some other types of nests for birds and mammals of North Dakota. The second section opens with an introduction containing recommendations and cautions concerning songbird feeding, as well as methods to enhance natural feeding opportunities for birds on your property. Plans are included for the construction of a variety of small feeders for backyard bird feeding.
