Project Description

Our goal is to develop an addendum chapter for the North Dakota State Wildlife Action Plan that meets the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Voluntary Guidance on incorporating Climate Change into State Wildlife Action Plans (2009). The proposed project will specifically address three objectives. First, we will summarize predicted climate change scenarios for the Northern Plains and North Dakota. Second, we will document on-going efforts to monitor climate change effects in North Dakota. Finally, we will engage with stakeholders through a regional workshop to assess implications for and develop management recommendations.
