Shoot from a Stationary Motor Vehicle Permit Regulations

This permit may be revoked, amended, suspended, or modified at any time for cause, including but not limited to change in permit laws or rules, a change in disability or injury eligibility, or violation and conviction of North Dakota Game and Fish laws.

NDCC (20.1-02-05-10)" A permit issued under this subsection allows the permittee to drive, or be driven, onto any land for the purpose of hunting wildlife, except that neither any other passenger with in the vehicle nor the driver, if someone other than the permittee, may be a hunter, unless the other person is also a permittee. Provided however, that if the land is privately owned and if the permittee is not going to drive or be driven along an established road or trail, the permittee must first obtain the consent of the owner or lessee to hunt on the land in the manner provided in this title."

  • A vehicle for the purpose of this permit, includes pickup, car, atv or utv.

The permittee may not use a vehicle to flush, attempt to flush, search or chase any game.

  • Excluding Migratory Birds in accordance to US Fish and Wildlife RST/50 CFR 20.21(d). "From or by any means, aid, or use of any motor vehicle, motor driven land conveyance, or aircraft of any kind, except that paraplegics and persons missing one or both legs may take from any stationary motor vehicle or stationary motor vehicle land conveyance;"

Permittee must comply with all the laws and rules related to the seasons, bag limits, trespass, and all other applicable provisions.

Permit holders are responsible for renewing their applications in a timely matter. Typical processing time is 7-10 days depending on the season and time of year.
