No Shave November

Each November, for the past five years, the North Dakota Game Warden Association has participated in No Shave November to raise awareness about cancer and each year the Warden Association has chosen a cause to donate the funds raised to.
For No Shave 2024, the ND Game Warden Association chose to donate the proceeds to Landon’s Light Foundation. Landon’s Light Foundation is a 501(c)(3) based in West Fargo, that supports children battling serious medical illness by providing hope and joy during their difficult journey.
I had the privilege of meeting some of the people that make up the great team of individuals at Landon’s Light when the association made their first donation in 2021.
This year I was asked again to deliver a check to them for the association’s participation in No Shave November.
When I walked through the door, I was recognized by an individual from our previous contribution, and when I informed them that I was there with another donation I was met with great appreciation and gratitude.
It was a truly rewarding experience to know that the association’s participation in No Shave November can shine some light on someone’s day through Landon’s Light Foundation and help them achieve their mission to spread hope and joy to area children when they need it most.
