State Wildlife Action Plan

Every ten years, the Department updates the State Wildlife Action Plan. In 2025, the plan was revised to identify a list of species of greatest  conservation need and the actions needed to safeguard them. Learn more in this week’s NDO News.

Wing Envelope Survey

Each year Department biologists ask pheasant, sharp-tailed grouse and Hungarian partridge hunters to send in samples of their harvest via the Department’s Wing Envelope Program.
