North Dakota Game Wardens Association Scholarship
2026 Scholarship Information
The North Dakota Game Wardens Association is pleased to announce we are offering up to $1200 of college scholarships to students interested in studying wildlife law enforcement or a related field.
Eligibility
- High school seniors and current college or university students who will be enrolled at a college or university for the 2025 fall semester.
- Career goal in wildlife law enforcement or any related field (i.e. law enforcement, wildlife biology, law, etc.)
Application checklist
- Provide a resume containing the following information: Name and contact information, high school you graduated from, college you are attending or plan to attend, cumulative GPA, extra-curricular activities, jobs, community involvement
- Unofficial transcript
- 1 letter of recommendation from an unrelated adult who knows you well (teacher, coach, employer, etc.)
- A brief essay (about 1 page) describing the role of law enforcement in wildlife management
- A brief essay (about 1 page) describing one of the following topics:
- Why do you want to be a game warden? OR
- Describe how your chosen career will contribute to the field of wildlife law enforcement.
