2023-24 Take Someone New Ice Fishing Challenge
Take somebody new with you this year and you could be bringing home a new fish house or gifting them with one to get started!

2024 Challenge Winner
The winner of the 2024 ice fishing challenge was Elliana Doll who mentored new ice angler Sarah Ostrom.
"Sarah and I, two 18-year-olds from Minnesota, took over the Sportsmen Club at the University of Mary here in Bismarck this year. Sarah had never been ice fishing before, and I had done it a couple times back home in MN. Thanks to a grant from the Game and Fish Department, we purchased a bunch of ice fishing poles and tackle for the club and went out on Lake Harmon. It was a fantastic experience and Sarah loved learning the new skill so much that we took the club back to the lake twice more over the following month!" - Elliana Doll
